March Flurries: photo shoot with Dayzee { @LaBar89 }

Spoke with my bro today who is missing his baby. Well, the baby was napping like a good girl..and when she got up, of course she wanted to go outside. I looked outside and it was snowing. Snowing...after a beautiful spring like day yesterday. Anyway, I thought it would be nice to take a few pictures and share with the bro. I think Dayzee likes the snow and looks good in it.

2nd annual Polish Periogi making day ( @LaBar89 )

We are polish and we make pierogies. It takes all of us all day to do so. It would of taken longer if someone didn't make pierogies on steroids.., just kidding Sean. I know that you just were as tired of seeing pierogies and stuffing them as I was.

Sorry for the delay in getting this up..Just finished uploading them to my computer now.. but I figured you would like to see some of the pictures..better late than never, right?

my new pierogi for this year had jalopeanos stuffed in them. i thought they were good.

...these photos are taking forever to attach to this email blog thing.. i really hope it works...

next year it would be nice if aunt pat could join in the assembly line. on the peirogi making day grandma and uncle frank took a day off from being at the Lehigh valley hospital ICU with her. She is on a slow road to recovery. ... I'm also htinking dad should join in with us next time around..just saying. He came home when we were finishing up this year. So not fair at all.

I've been horrible about blogging lately. There is just not enough time in the day to do everything. So I've slacked off on this since I can slack off in this area.

However..the reason for this update..is because now I'm downloading pictures from my camera, so that I have room to take pictures tomorrow when Dayzee goes to PetSmart for the first time. That's either going to be good or bad. I'll have my camera along for the journey to take pictures for Sean. And since I'm downloading pictures, I thought that I would share a few of them.

So far this winter, we haven't had a lot of snow, but the snow that we've had..Dayzee has surely enjoyed it. I think she just loves the outdoors. I know she misses sean..that's for sure. But she is still the same Dayzee Queen..ruler of the house. Not the guard dog but a spoiled dog. Guess I created a monster.. who knew that sleeping with the little brown puppy would lead to this? Chad knew. That's who..or at least thats what he says.

its been a while...

it snowed today and looks beautiful..these pictures aren't from today..

i am thankful that it snowed on a saturday morning instead of during the work week.

also, i am thankful that this work week is over. mandatory overtime was not my favorite thing.

just figured i'd update this..since its been forever since i posted anything to posterous. i wonder if my account is still there. hmm.. guess i'll find out.

october 29,2011 snow pictures

looks like winter came early this year. here are some snow pictures from the first snow fall..and one picture that mom put on the refrigerator door..just because. dayzee loves the snow..i throw snowballs in the air and she tries to bite them while in mid-air. enjoy. going to get another cup of hot tea to drink on this cold day.

a fall prayer request

Fall is my favorite season. Last weekend I went with my cousin into a corn maze at night. That was a fun adventure. Also, last weekend my church had its annual Chili cookoff, another fall favorite of mine. I love to see the bright reds, yellows, and orange tinted leaves as they glow in the sunlight and glide to the ground. Fall is a transition season..a bridge from summer to winter..a time of change.

Right now is kinda like fall for my family too because my aunt went into the hospital with asthma symptoms. The doctors operated on her spine due to some fluid or blood built up around the spine, and now she is paralyzed from the waist down. They say there is a chance that she could fully recover and walk again but there is also the possibility that she will remain paralyzed. Please pray for my aunt and for wisdom for the doctors. I'm not sure how my aunt will handle this drastic change in her life and i'm not sure if she is saved. I know that through the changes and trials of life that God remains the same. He alone is the sure foundation for life. I know that He is in control.

Sunday School Joys

Today in Sunday School the lesson was on the friendship of David and Jonathan. We talked about how Jonathan gave David gifts to show him how much he appreciated him as his friend. After the lesson, I asked a few little "gamers" if they would give their wii with all of their games to their friends. These little pre-schoolers said no. It was so cute. now, they said that they would share their wii and the games with their friends but they would not give them this treasure of theirs. But their unwillingness to give their treasure to another got me thinking. I'm just like them. When I have a chance to bless or to hold on to what is dear to me,..sad to say is that I cling to the treasure in my hand instead of letting God use it to bless those around me. interesting what I learn from those adorable kids...
